Rear Anti-Roll Bar

'28-'31 Model 'A' - Rear Anti-Roll Bar

A Center of hole in frame for torsion bar is located 12" forward from the center of the rear axle housing and 1" down from the top of the frame rail. Bore or hole saw a 1-1/4" hole in both frame rails and weld in the frame bushings provides.
B Torsion arms should be timed (mounted in the same position on both ends of the bar) and then connected to the upper hole in the 4-Link bracket with the special bolt/stud and rod end links as shown.
All welding should be done by a qualified welder

'32-'34 - Rear Anti-Roll Bar

A Torsion bar mount bolts to rear crossmember using coil-over shock bolts on inboard mounting holes. Outer mounting holes must be drilled.
B Torsion arms should be timed (mounted in
the same position on both ends of the bar) and then connected the upper hole in the 4-Link bracket with the special bolt/stud, spacer and rod end links as shown.

FRONT PANARD ROD

Though designed for use with TCI frames and suspension parts, the front panard rod can be adapted to most any chassis using a 4-link, transverse spring and a beam or tube axle.
A Bolt axle mounting bracket to inside of passenger side 4-Link batwing with bar mount at bottom.
B Using assembled bar as a guide, position frame bracket (with open side towards engine) on bottom of drivers side frame rail just behind the front crossmember. Make sure that panard bar runs parallel to axle and then weld frame bracket in place.
All welding should be done by a qualified welder

REAR PANARD ROD

TCI's rear panard rod fits 8" or 9" Ford rear ends.
A Bolt axle bracket to third member as shown using the grade 8 bolts supplied.
B Frame bracket should be mounted approximately 1-1/2" above the center of the third member mount with rearend positioned at normal ride height. This position will allow plenty of clearance for suspension travel up or down. Using the assembled bar as a guide, locate the frame bracket to the frame and weld in place.
C Bolt panard rod to third member and frame bracket using hardware supplied. Adjuster should be installed on frame end of bar.
